After you have removed the cover After removing the cover, you can employ a flathead to remove the four main attachment clips from the passenger side of fob assembly. They are marked with red on the image below. Pay attention to the yellow tabs that need to be deactivated.
Replace the battery with a #CR2032 coin cell battery. Make sure that the "+" positive side of the battery is aligned to the opening in the fob, and that the"-" negative side is facing towards the buttons made of rubber.
Attach the mirror cover to the passenger side by aligning the locating tabs. Once you've done this take the fob for the driver's side back in your car and test it. Press the push button at the front of the key. If everything works as it should your car should start to turn on the parking lights and your doors will automatically lock.
